* Encourage improvement in the quality of motion picture production and raise the professional and technical standards of services.
* Encourage communication and cooperation among different sectors of the post production industry.
* Liaise with creative personnel of the motion picture industry.
會務宗旨內容:
a) 促進，改善及確保香港電影後期製作之標準，強化訓練，及提升電影後期製作技術。
b) 促進香港電影後期製作行業的團結與相互合作。
c) 促進電影後期製作在香港電影行業內的優化發展。
短期目標
a) 完善香港後期工作，快速加強培訓及技術提升。
b) 積極推動電影同業間的交流,希望有效率地收集同業友好的不同建議, 務求令本地後期製作業不斷進步。
c) 促進行業內部合作團結，形成製作人一體化的承擔制度。
長期目標
a) 爭取政府認同對行業的支持及幫助。尋求行業直接培訓，展覽宣傳，出版及網頁等促進工作。
b) 尋求政府輔助後期工作的基建。如 " 後期製作標準研發中心 "，" Film Post Centre "。
首項目標是可以為電影行業供測試用的標準化電影院。
